Infusion x Party On (Reg# 149409009). Res. Champion Boar at 2016 National Barrow Show. Shown by Gibson's out of Iowa, he was probably the most talked about boar in Austin, MN. Loaded with muscle, clean fronted with a giraffe neck, great bone, big footed, and really wide based. Eye catching with a pretty side profile. He's even more impressive now. Pain Killer...he just might make you feel better about Chester White hogs!

Throwback x Knot Much (Reg# 150130004). Went up to Monson Show Pigs (WI) to look at some spots and Jeff walked us by this pen of Chester boars. WOW - GREAT Litter top to bottom!!! If you like muscle, rib, and monster bone, then you'll love this one! A unique blend of genetics in a package that isn't to big and isn't to small - and he's from a great sow too! We really didn't need another Chester boar but he was just to irresistible to not bring home.

Punch Line x Bonecrusher (Reg# 150021003). 2017 SWTC purchase from Boganwright. Brad Hall and I spotted this one in the pen early on. He shares the same dam as Walk the Line, the $35,000 boar standing at Shaffer's - a great sow that generates high end pigs. Love to just sit and stare at him. So pretty with a clean upheaded look, very square thru to the ground on all four corners, while being sound and fluid in his movement with great feet and legs. Loaded up with muscle and he can handle it! We think this one can work some magic on our herd!

Scratch My Itch x Rooster (Reg# 146483001). We'll never admit to being professional photographers so not all of our images do justice. This guy is tall fronted, really heavy boned, and sound as a cat. Dam produced our 2014 NBS Res. Champion Chester White Boar. Three shots of Just Maybe make him at outcross to most Chesters today! **Currently housed at North Iowa Boar Stud**

Kool Whip x Blizzard Warning (Reg# 148197002). If you like them tall fronted and deep ribbed with a rump structure that draws your attention, then you’ll LOVE this guy! Plenty of muscle, clean fronted, and plenty of bone. His mother has that cool look too. It’ll be fun if he sires the way he looks!

HoundDog
Hound Dog 40-3

Hound Dog x Roids (Reg# 160974003). Mature boar purchase from Monson Show Pigs (WI). A little bit different genetic package with this one - an outcross to the popular Get Loud/Loud Mouth spot lines. A structurally complete and correct boar with exceptional feet, a massive rib, and enough muscle to have us excited for the next breeding season(s)! We think he'll throw good boars but we're most excited to see what kind of females we can get out of him (especially considering his dam was a class winner at the 2015 SWTC and a littermate gilt was a class winner at the 2016 National Barrow Show)! Might want to keep your eyes open for litters out of this guy!

Just N Case x Mack (Reg# 142974006). SWTC 2013 purchase from Armstrong's. Stood 2nd in class behind eventual Grand Champion (his littermate!). Four months after the show, while eating sow feed, he is still looking show ready. Big top, wide and square across his rump, bold-fronted and wide-chested. Feet and Legs are very good and he is sound. We believe he'll be a great one!

Coggan x I Feel Lucky (Reg# 147163004). A very interesting boar, just not a very good picture. Expressive top, big butt, and a powerful, easy moving, front end. Good feet and legs that are square to the ground and point straight ahead. Every time we walked by the boar pen, there he was. It was like he was saying, 'Look at Me!'

2nd Shift

Knot Much x Blizzard Warning (Reg# 147171003). Heavy boned, loads of muscle, and a big barrel rib. Clean about his head and tall fronted. A little more moderate than what we normally use but not little. Dam is a good pig raiser and this was a deep boar litter. We didn't get very many pigs from his sire (which we would give anything to have him back), so this son will be continuing to work the 2nd Shift.

Boomerang x Bull Top (Reg# 145400008). 2014 STC 2nd Class 2, purchased from M.D. Ideus, IL. In our opinion, the best boar MD has turned loose to date. Thick, square top, big butted, heavy/correct bone plus sound feet and legs. Moves with ease! His mother just had her 9th litter and has been a generator for MD. We absolutely love this guy. We have analyzed him over and over to see what's wrong with him and the only thing we can say is "Knot Much."

Big Rig x UNO (Reg# 145423004). 2014 Missouri State Fair Grand Champion Boar (Littermate gilt was also Grand Champion). Depth, width and body mass of a trendy, more moderate, hog but in a bigger package. Big topped, stout fronted, and heavy boned. This guy is as correct in his hip, rump, and hind leg set as you will find. This boar truely gtes better every day and we predict you'll hear a lot from him! Kool Whip - Spoon Lickin' Good!

Stellar x Filthy Rich (Reg# 143972008). We've sold a lot of good hogs from our old Filthy Rich sow, so we wanted to try and create a herd boar from her before she was gone. We tried Stellar from Triple B and it worked! We got a great litter from top to bottom. This boar is the real standout of the group. We also kept 2 littermate gilts. This guy is big-butted, big-topped, has excellent curvature to his rib, clean and extended up front and very sound. His mother is a big bodied, heavy boned brood sow. This boar is flat out pretty. Keep 'em cool with a KOOZIE.

Big Buck x Venom (Reg# 142140001). If you like 'em monster boned and sound, well look here. We loaned this boar to Voorhees for a while because we weren't quite ready to use him but now he's back. Clean-headed, tall-fronted, big rump, stout-fronted, with good rib shape and more bone and foot size than you can find anywhere. He reminds us a lot of his grandsire, Just Maybe. His mother also has more bone than most boars. We're Itchin to see what we get from this guy.

He's also a total outcross to most Chester's in the United States!

4HF Ronnie x ALU (Reg# 141226002). The best of the farm purchase from Drew Voorhees. Littermate gilt was the 2011 Fall Classic Champion gilt. A super correct and well balanced boar. Tall fronted, level topped and really sound on the both ends. Big thick squared top and plenty of butt that is not only wide but long in it's muscle pattern. Feet and legs are ideal. His head is up and very clean. Deep-ribbed and wide-based with lots of gut capacity. We believe Body Shop can fix allot of problems.

Totally Shocked

Henry the 8th x The Stud (Reg# 141980001). Private treaty purchase from Randy Schmidt. Here's a hog that's hard to find a hole in. His top line is the 1st thing to catch your eye. He's got a high tail set on top of a big, wide rump that blends perfectly into a wide, soft top and extends clear over his blades without a blemish. He's wide through his hips and his bone work is square to the ground both from his hips and bladed. Feet and legs are near perfect. Really sound on both ends and takes a powerful stride out of his front end. Maybe the best thing about him is the litter he comes from. This litter is as deep in quality as you will find anywhere. We bought this guy to make top-end females. We'll be totally shocked if he doesn't.

General Store x The Rooster (Reg# 142150003). Thought about taking this one to the NBS and maybe we should have. He represents our best spring litter. Sold two littermate gilts at Iowa to Shawn Crompton, MN. We kept one gilt and the other gilt was Reserve Champion at the NBS. She sold to Laura Baur, WI. Two more really good boars sold as commercial boars. This guy is up-headed, really sound and has a huge barrel rib. Reminds us allot of The Rooster. I feel lucky we kept this one home.

American Classic x Easy Albert (Reg# 139539002). Herb Brown and JD Rudasill teamed up to produce this one. This guy is as long and thick as you will find — its hard to get both together. Big-ribbed, thick-topped, and wide both front to back and top to bottom. Really stout made with great feet and toes. First crop of pigs look just like him. The General Store could have everything you'll ever need. We're excited to own this one!

Big Buck

Maybe So x Turbo (Reg# 139090002). Off the farm purchase from Hillcrest Farms. Sired by our 2008 NBS Reserve Champion Boar (a Just Maybe son) and Rasmussen's $2600 gilt from the very same show. A little different genetic package. A little bigger skeleton than most. Fast growing, heavy-boned, deep-ribbed, all on big feet with even toes. Scanned a very impressive 4.7% IMF. We hope the hunting season for those Big Bucks has started. It looks promising.

Rooster
The Rooster

BOLN Vanilla Ice x LEC Thumbs Up (Reg#138935001). Reserve Champion and top selling Chester boar at the WPX 2010. Thick, wide, barrel-ribbed, very well muscled, and a very high quality underline. This guy is super sound, loose-structured and carries his head high. He's got the strut and pride of a bantam rooster. We tried to shrink him down after we got him home and found we could not. Sadly, The Rooster wasn't around as long as we wanted but several daughters were retained.

Keep on Tick'n
Keep on Tick'n

Ticks x Easy Out (Reg# 137152003). Level topped and tall fronted with a clean extended front. Plenty of butt and lots of bone. The set and curvature to his back feet and legs is almost perfect, big feet with even toes. He is bold-fronted with a pretty side profile. This guy's family tree is filled with winners: '09 Iowa State Fair - FFA Champion Chester Barrow, FFA Reserve Chester Barrow, FFA Champion Chester Breeding Gilt, Reserve Supreme Champion Breeding Gilt over all breeds, and the Clay County Fair Champion Chester Gilt are all littermates to Keep on Tick'n. His mother is a littermate to our NBS Hog College Gilt. We hope he keeps the purple ribbons coming. Check his pigs out this fall, they look powerful.

Just Maybe
Just Maybe

High Plains Drifter x Big Show (Reg# 133648001). This High Plains Drifter son from the Paul Beaver Family, was our pick of boars at the 2007 STC. Bone, rib, muscle, depth and mass, oh, did we mention BONE! This guy has sired several champions and high placing individuals. His latest being the sire of Vroegh's Reserve Chester Male Prospect at Duncan.

Just Maybe has been named Super Sire at the NBS and has ranked as high as 3rd in the National Sire of the Year points standing. Sires very sound, functional hogs that grow well. His first daughters are doing great in the farrowing house. The name Just Maybe no longer fits as he is a definite Yes!

Easy Out
Easy Out

White Out x Power Play (Reg# 129365004). Easy Out has been gone for a while but his influence still remains strong in our sow herd. One of the all time greats to serve here. Sire of lots of champions and winners but more importantly, a sire of just flat good hogs that are generators.

Venom
Venom

Rewind x Step'n Up (Reg# 136423002). In our opinion, he is of perfect frame size. A really good-footed boar that is well muscled. He walks with his head held high and has a great boar attitude. His mother is AC Elly 7-9, one of the best generating sows in our herd...ever. She has raised some national winners for us as well as lots of keeper gilts. If our math is right, the old Stinger boar shows up 24 times in this pedigree. This makes him just about a total outcross to most Chesters in the USA.

Stinger

Clean Cut x Triple Play (Reg# 120616001). Some will ask "Why would you run a picture of a boar born in the 90's?" Well, this guy is in every sow pedigree on the farm, sometimes several generations in a row. Without a doubt, the backbone of our herd. We just keep lining him up over and over. No junk, just lots of good. We can't say enough about this genetic power house.

King Sized
King Sized

Journey’s End x Prestige. 2016 SWTC purchase from Charles Real. Why this boar wasn’t in the championship drive is beyond us. Largest loin eye measured at the York show, huge rib, big thick hip and rump, super heavy boned, stout skulled, wide based, and a tail head that reads stout. Super easy keeper that still looks show ready on limited feed. Simply put, everything about this boar is King Sized! Now housed at Monson Show Pigs (WI).

Chatterbox

Caveman x Snow Plow. 2014 NBS purchase from Lorenzen's (2nd Class 2). We completely missed this guy when walking thru the barn--but didn't miss him on show day! Thick top, heavy bone, and a big barrel rib are just a few of the things that have us excited.

Smooth Moves
Smooth Moves

Frank (WOW) x High Standards. 2013 WPX purchase from Eddie Robinson. All the pieces blend together perfectly. Lots of thick soft muscle — really long in his ham muscle. Deep and wide-ribbed and deep-flanked. A true medium frame. Square to the ground on all four corners with ideal feet and legs that point straight forward. Soundness and ease of movement is excellent. For this reason we have named him Smooth Moves. We think this WPX sleeper was a great buy!

SecretAgent
Secret Agent

Skyfall x Entourage (Reg# 158437001). 2015 WPX 1st, Class 3 boar from Circle F Farms. Sired by the 2013 STC Champion Boar and out of Jervis' popular $3000 gilt from the 2014 WPX. We admired this popular Skyfall son for his square-ness, sound-ness, and heavy bone. He's even managed to suprise us a little with how much width/rib he throws in his pigs - a pleasant suprise!! We're not exactly sure how Secret Agent managed to sneak out the side door with everybody watching, but we're glad he landed with us and are excited to see what he'll do for our spotted program. Owned with Bombei & Sons (IA) and Behnkendorf (IA). Now housed at Behnkendorf's!

In Focus x Happy Feet (Reg# 154420006). Albertson Bros. 2014 private treaty purchase from Rick Ott (OK). Picture doesn't do justice to the smooth level top, lots of bone, and good feet. Really heavy muscled and as much chest floor as you could ever want.

Trucking Bozo x Color Me Lucky (Reg# 153391004). Albertson Bros. 2013 NBS purchase from Jason Loy. We zero'd in on this guy because of how sound he was in the show ring, his muscle makeup, the correctness of his bonework, and just his overall athleticism. At the end of the day, there were to many positives with this guy that we felt would move our spotted herd along.
